Lafayette Bicentennial Parade

On August 24, 2024, we will honor Lafayette's legacy with a commemorative event: a muster and breakfast at the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company Armory, a parade to Boston Common, wreath-laying ceremonies, and a review of the troops by General Lafayette. Parade participants will form on Boston Common, where Lafayette and dignitaries will address the crowd and receive a cannon salute. 0800 – USS Constitution Lafayette & Dignitaries 

0900 – Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts host Breakfast Buffet at Faneuil Hall.

0930-1030 – Parade Units form at Faneuil Hall.

1100 – Parade Steps off.

1120 – Old Granary Burial Wreath Laying.

1140 – Lafayette Mall Wreath Laying.

1150 – Pass & Review

1200 – Ceremony begins with General Lafayette receiving a cannon salute.
